Back again!!!

Another card from Jo!!! Four days on the trot!! I've had a lovely day playing today, should have been doing the housework but that can wait!! We were going to go to the Bath and West Show ground, to the craft show as it is about an hour from us, but as hubby has only just started his new job, I decided that I would save up and perhaps go next year instead. Anyway Newbury show is fast approaching and I shall be there with Wendy, so hopefully will be able to have a spend there instead!! So that's my reason for today's crafting session, if I can't buy it, I may as well use it!!
Anyway this card is for Just Magnolia which is an open challenge , Sunday Sketch and Stamp which was a choice of one of 25 sketches and Our Creative Corner which is blossoms!!
Edited: I used sketch number 13!!

The Tilda image is one that I received in a RAK, so I'm really sorry but I haven't a clue what she is called. She was lovely to colour but to me she looks as if she's lost her legs or is sinking into a bog, perhaps I haven't coloured her very well!!
Sentiment is from a Popcorn Bear Stamp

Coloured with Copic Ciao, Sketch and Spica Glitter pens
The papers are Basic Grey Lemonade, I think my favourite yet!!
Martha Stewart Lace and Branch punches
The flowers are made with the same Nellie Multi frame set as the Tilda is cut out with,
spritzed with Pearl Glimmer Mist.
Crystal Glamour Dust

All of the above, other than the stamps, is available from Wendy at Stamps and Memories
Card and Brads from Stash

Hope you like her

And another!!!

Back again and really struggling!! I am trying to follow sketches but I am having problems when they have more than one layer!! I seem to have lost my colour co-ordination, not good. I am OK if they are nice and simple but some of them have got so complicated that I am avoiding them. I suppose it is because I like my cards to be straight and even etc. The thought of tearing and distressing petrifies me, so that is definetely a no go area, I may be brave one day!! Todays card is for the Papertake Weekly challenge which is a sketch and the Creative Card Crew which is Happy Birthday.

I have used this gorgeous stamp from the Whiff of Joy Spring Collection, she is a treat to colour!
I have used Copic Ciao and Sketch and Spica Clear Glitter Pens
DP is from the Basic Grey Eurphoria Pad again, I love these papers
Nestibilities Labels
Martha Stewart Daisy and around the edge punches
Sentiment and Sparkle dots are Papermania
Card and ribbon from Stash

Hope you like it!!

Another quick post!!

I'm really not happy with this or the last card that I've posted, don't know what's wrong with me but I seem to have lost Mr Mojo again. I'm not going to let him get away this time though, I'm going to persevere and not give up. This card I am going to enter into the following
ABC challenge - S is for Sparkle
Simon Says Challenge - Things with Wings

This little card really sparkles it's such a shame that the photo doesn't do her justice.
Anyway, I have used a Lili of the Valley image
Coloured with Copic markers
DP is from the Basic Grey Euphoria pad
Nestibilities round and oval Scallops
Martha Stewart Doily and Branch Punches
The fairies wings are covered in Crystal Glamour Dust
The flower is spritzed with Pearl Glimmer Mist
Card, Gems and Ribbon from Stash
Hope you like her and have a good weekend everyone.

Let me introduce you to ...............

Our resident rat catcher, Tango, most often referred to as the "ginger furball". "Rat catcher?" I here you say," doesn't look like he catches rats". Well this was taken yesterday afternoon, after he had been on look out all day by the green house. As you can see exhausting work this rat catching. Yes, he had caught three young rats, "oh what a good boy" was that? I am sorry to say that the first two didn't survive, first one found dead on the living room floor and second one found dead on the lawn!!. "So what happened to number three", I hear you say? He brought it home to mum and let it go in her craftroom ..................... Now you know why he is not a good boy!!!!!!!!! I screamed and managed to keep an eye on where it went, Hubby to the rescue and he caught it by the tail. OMG, never a dull moment here!!!

Hubby has now spent all day today sorting out the top greenhouse and laying more concrete!!! Happy Sundays!!
Well on to today's card. This is totally out of my comfort zone. Very OTT and a Tilda!! I do own some of these little girls but they all face sideways or have their mouth covered as I so want to draw a face on them!! I have to thank lovely Vicky from Kips Cards for this lovely image that was sent as a RAK. Pop across and have a look at her work, it is amazing, I just wish I had her patience.
I think this covers a few challenges, I started using a sketch over at Fussy and Fancy but I think it has gone a bit wrong, I have got them around the wrong way, sorry ladies. The rest are;

Cute Card Thursday - Mono Mania , mine is Pink
Roses on Paper - Layers, I have 11
Just Magnolia - Punch it out, mine is a border punch

By the Cute and Girly - Fairytales, I think Princess Tilda qualifies for a Fairy Tale
Allsorts Challenge -Petals and Pearls, I have used Liquid Pearls and flat pearls

I have used Princess Tilda image from Magnolia
Coloured with Copic Pens
Paper is Basic Grey Bittersweet Pad, gorgeous papers!
Nestibilities Oval and Scalloped Oval
Martha Stewart Doily Punch, really love this punch!
Swirls Cuttlebug Folder
Crystal Glamour Dust

Glossy Accents
Ribbon, Card, flowers and flat backed pearls from Stash.

Back at work!!!

Back at work, can't you tell!!! Just had to make a card when I got home today and I was late in and left early!!!! Anyway the good news is that Hubby started his new job yesterday, after 8 months of being unemployed and with no income, he is now like a dog with two tails!!! All I want now is for him to earn enough for me to give up work!!! Don't think there is a lot of chance of that happening though. Anyway todays card, I am not really that pleased with it, there seems to be something missing and I'm not sure about the colour scheme but it fits the following challenges.
My time to craft - On the spot
Secret crafter Saturday challenge -How does your garden grow
The image is another Bildmalarna
Coloured with Copics
Nestibilities labels three
Martha Stewart Punch double dot (I think)
Paper is Daisy and Dandelion
Card, pearls and ribbon from stash
I hope you like it

Storage

I was asked the question a few months ago, how do I store my ribbons? As today I am having a tidy up day I thought I would provide my answer. Spice Racks picked up at my local kitchen shop!! These are ideal for ribbons and stickles too. I am lucky enough to have a room that I can leave my craft stuff about , so hubby has put these up between shelves. How do other people store their ribbons?

Hope to be back later with a card!!
