Winter Wonderland - Week 13 - By Candle Light

Whilst I was at the Copic Workshop last Saturday, people were discussing blogs and this was one that was mentioned. So this one person that said earlier that she was not going to start making Christmas Cards in the Summer was tempted by this darling little angel!!! Yes, another of my new stamps and isn't she just adorable.

In creating my card I have used:

Mimosa Christmas Angel Stamp by Bildmalarna
Copic Pens (of course)
Nestabilities labels 4
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder
Martha Stewart punch
Christmas Blues paper by Dovecraft
Colour Box Catseyes
Sentiment by Impression Obsession
Card, Ribbon and Gems from stash

And I forgot that the wings and candle are crystal and gold glitter
(Thanks for reminding me Teri!)

Now for my next challenge ..........

And it's a long weekend, yipeee, lots of cards!!!

Be back soon

Copics Class

Last weekend I went to a Copics Workshop held at Kintbury Village Hall. As you can gather it was arranged by Wendy from Stamps and Memories, who along with the very talented Karen Watson are both Copic Certified. A great time was had by all. It was such a relaxed, stress free day spent with a bunch of lovely ladies, who like myself either dabble with Copics or were eager to try them. I learnt so much more from Karen and Wendy. The day flew by and was soon over, followed by another evening with Wendy. Yes, we did actually get around to doing something!! I decided to practice my new found skills on another of my new stamps. Isn't she gorgeous, Crystal from High Hopes. Just don't mention to my husband how many new stamps I have!! And there are more to come, whoops!!
I know Wendy and Karen are running other Copic Classes around the country, if you think you may be interested, check out Wendy's Stamps and Memories website for details to see if there is one near you, they are great fun!!
Anyway really must close now, two posts in one evening, well not quite it's just gone midnight and time for bed!!

Night, night

This time Mouse Holding Icecream from Tina Wenke. Another cute one I'm afraid!!

I have included all three of the above colours, which I was really surprised that I had!!! Still got another 48 of the Ciao's to get, so have been lucky so far!!

R20, BG23, W-1 and W3 for the Mouse

Spica Clear Pen
Glossy Accents

Yet another evening with Wendy

Yes, the men had a meeting!!! I thought I would get this card on my blog before Wend puts it on hers, I just love it, those gorgeous Sarah Kay stamps and Rita Marie Papers.
I must confess that I didn't make this one last night but took it over to Wendy.
I can't believe that Wendy had me making a Christmas Card last night and my car was registering 26 degrees today. It's just not right!! I refuse to put any Christmas Cards on my blog until at least November!!
Anyway must get on with some crafting, haven't even had time for any challenges, not that I'm any good at them but at least I try!! Lol.

Wild Rose Studio Blog Candy

How bad am I?! Just had a week off and have neglected my blog. Mind on other things I'm afraid, hubby's just lost his job, redundant!! That's about all I can say, things can only get better. He now thinks he's retiring and becoming a kept man, we'll see!!!
A few months ago I was lucky enough to win some blog candy from the Wild Rose Studio. I decided the other night that perhaps it was time to try these fab stamps out. So here are my first attempts, Copics and Glossy accents again I'm afraid!!

Hope you like them
